It is a blessing to pass onto the other side with family stories in your head and love in your heart. Dick's memory and influence will live on in our hearts. My arms are around you Susan.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dick was a wonderful man. I am so glad he was able to spend his last days with you and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Because Dick and his parents lived so close, our families always celebrated holidays together. Dick was always so tolerant of four little girls. He was a wonderful person. Your family is in my prayers.

I am very sad to hear the news, though it is wonderful that he was surrounded by his loving family at the end of his time here. He was larger than life in many ways, and I'm just grateful that I got to know him and take his advice when I asked for it. Dick was, in a word, unforgettable.

So very sad to hear that Dick passed away but wonderful that he could stay long enough to spend a last Christmas with all of you. All our love and thanks Susan for including all of us who come to CaringBridge to share in Dick's journey with you. We will pass the word to other family members. Coming here to check on him has been special. Dick is now that alpenglow on Mendicant Ridge above the ranch that you mentioned appeared when he died. He loved the ranch and all of you so much and now he can always return to greet and watch over you from there. How special it was for him to die at home together with his family as he wished. He is at peace now but we will all miss him so. Our deepest condolences to you all.
