Journal entry by Will Fluke —
For those of you who aren’t on social media and haven’t heard yet, my father passed away on December 11 around 130 in the morning. I was with him the whole time holding his hand. He was in no pain, and I brought the leftover ashes of my mom and said dad I brought mom‘s ashes and if you want to go with her it’s OK, you were the best dad and you’ve taught me what I’ve needed to know to be a good man. Stay or go, I support and love you and I’m by your side the whole way.
We will have a memorial at some point however there’s a lot going on right now so it will likely be postponed for a couple months. I’m sorry for not updating in so long but he’s been living a good life! His dementia from the stroke had him living in a fantasy world that sounds pretty good, we should all be so lucky.
He will be so sorely missed, but I’m glad he’s with my mom once again ❤️
Please forgive any late callbacks or non-responses. It’s a tough time right now.
With gratitude for all of your love and support,
Will
