Journal entry by Dane Rombach

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4)
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).

God, I thank you for your faithfulness. You have picked me up when I’ve had no strength, shined brightly in the darkness, and  comforted my brokenness. The pain in my heart is still fresh, but you have consistently wiped the tears and graced me with abundant blessings. You have taught me a lot about life, priorities, and loving deeply. Because of you, I have grown and discovered a lot about myself. In you, I have found strength, peace, joy, hope, and comfort. I am so grateful for that. Thank you God for holding me through the lonely nights and uncertain days. God I am a work in progress, but I’m so grateful I’ve gotten to where I am today. God, I humbly ask for your continued guidance, protection, and blessings over me and my children. This is such a sad time of year for our family, but God we thank you for the gift of Deron, for his love, commitment, sacrifices, and for the amazing legacy he left us. Please give him a big, tight hug for us and let him know how much we love and miss him everyday. God, I ask this all in your holy name and give you praise and thanks. All the glory to you. Amen

To all of our family and friends, we sincerely thank you for all of your continued prayers, love, and support. Our hearts are heavy as we approach November 20th. I can’t honestly tell you where the last 2 years have gone. There have been many ups and downs, but I can still honestly say God is so good. Our four children are healthy, happy, and thriving. Three of the four are now married. Two of them have had a son in the last year and the third is expecting grand baby #3 in June. Nate for now, is enjoying his uncle role and continuing to live out his dream. I continue to take one day at a time and find comfort in knowing, how proud of us, Deron would be. We wish all of you much love, happiness, good health, and many blessings.

Kim, Dane, Kelbie, and Nolan (9 weeks), Kelsey and Alexander (baby due in June), Kacie, Parker, and Shiloh (1 yr), and last but not least….Nate ❤️🙏🏻
