Den, my esteemed older cousin, I always admired and looked up to. I remember how your drawing skills inspired me to try my hand at it, sitting beside you. I think the result might be stored somewhere. Your vigor, enthusiasm and godliness have always been and continue to be an inspiration. You are on my mind and in my prayers. May God strengthen and heal your body and give you His peace.

I remember a day, oh so long ago, when a funny guy on the other end of the hall, third floor in Noordewier Hall, invited me to help him catch butterflies for his Biology class. We crossed over the beltline onto an open field and I watched as Dennis ran up and down, back and forth waving his net, catching as many of the little specimens as he could. He didn't seem to mind that I contributed exactly zero bugs, but I did help a little by holding the jar with the moth balls in it. He didn't want the captives to suffer flapping their wings trying to escape, so any he caught were placed carefully into the jar. What a guy!!! We're praying daily for your speedy recovery, Roomy.
But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. Malachi 4:2 (ESV)

”If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.”“

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭9‬-‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Praying for you Denny. Be strong and stay positive my friend, God is with you.❤️

Daily prayers for you, Denny! My name is Scott Sater, a life friend of Mike & Heather's. Heather and I began knowing each other as teacher & student SO many years ago, and she grew into a precious life friend, as has Mike. I want you to know that daily walks with my golden retriever, Inga, on the North Shore on County Road 60 five and a half miles up from Grand Marais ~ hears me praying for you daily. I lift your name to our Lord of All every morning, along with your Beloved Family's. Sending you love, hope, and energy for healing, and for the miracle of a Good Day! Love in Christ, Denny! ~ Scott

Really enjoy the pics.! Seeing your family in real time helps me focus my continued prayers. BTW: the B/G Marcus family also does daily challenge on NYT Worldle, Wordle, and Connections. I thought about challenging the Pluimer family BUT…uhm…nope…not a chance to win LOL. Praying the prayer of St. Patrick over you as we near Holy Week. ✝️🙏🏻
