It's Easter Sunday-the first holiday without Denny home with me. I received notice that he was to be discharged tomorrow, and I had a bit of a melt-down. He's in no way ready to come home. He's improving --and the last couple of days, I've seen "my Denny" again. His eyes are clearer --he seems like he's turning the corner. I filed an appeal on Friday to extend his stay there until he's able to walk using the walker, and can get out of bed  and stand up . Please pray for that to happen . He was so ill when he arrived  at Sanatoga--he couldn't do any PT at all, so he lost about a week or more  of any progress.  I'm hoping  when I go in today with kielbasa ( one of his favorites)  and potato salad and deviled eggs -- he'll enjoy them. He doesn't eat a lot but I'm thrilled that he is eating regular foods now.
