I am so sad to hear of her passing but always so blessed someone in pain is free. I met her through the Harley Chapter and wished I had known her longer. She got me and not many people do. Love you Denise and we will watch over Mike for you! See you soon my friend! ♥️ Gabrielle

When I think of Denise, I smile because I remember all the fun, laughs, good times, and adventures we had when she and Mike lived in Tukwila. Her extraordinarily creative mind could conjure a stunning show piece out of unlikely scraps of driftwood, old jars and derelict pottery. It was nothing short magic. Denise saw beauty where others saw only junk. That included people, too. Her empathy and ability to identify with -- and love -- her fellow humans who had lost their bootstraps was Denise's greatest gift. I have no doubt Denise got a big bearhug from Jesus when she entered Heaven, along with a super fun welcome home party (full of laughs, of course) that's probably still going. Denise was loved and may be gone from our midst, but she will live in our memories forever.
