Dee- Sending much love, thoughts, and prayers from the Opalks. We are thinking of you and hoping you will be better by the time “Shelter in Place” is over. As of now - you are not missing anything! Get well and see you at the next party at Curts end of May or beginning of June - whenever the government let’s us out to play!

Thank you for updating everyone. Dee, you are one tough man and it is time to get you built up to gain some weight and they have IV meds and special food to help. You have been through so much and yet you are positive and very ready to move forward to get back on the ice, wherever that will be. I am sorry nobody can visit and give you hugs and support in person, but I send that from here. I am sorry you are back at USC, but you are moving forward. Know you are loved and in my prayers. Hang tough. <3 #Deestrong

Thanks for the update, Beckie! Dee, you are one tough dude! Tougher than cancer, tougher than Covid-19, tougher than anything I’ve ever been through! Get yourself fattened up so you can start working out to play hockey! We love you! ♥️
