Pastor Hahn was one of a kind! I always looked forward to his wit and humor and wisdom. Of course I will always remember him best because we shared "ankle" stories after church service on Sundays. We both had the same Dr for our replacements so it was good to compare cases as we each went through our surgeries. He will be missed by all. Prayers of peace for the family :)

Thank you, Pastor Hahn, for your insight, wit, and leadership that you brought to Grace through so many ways, even at times dressing in character. I will cherish the lessons you imparted via Graceful Seniors and the Pastoral Care Committee. God speed.

Pastor Hahn was a true blessing for so many and I am very thankful that even during his own illness, he was able to officiate for my mom Sylvia Lindgren's remembrance service. They had a special connection especially after learning he had served at her sister's church in New London. Mom's nephew Brian saw Pastor Hahn at her service and immediately remembered him officiating at his confirmation years before. Pastor Hahn was very comforting and entertaining for my mom during her illness and hospice. She always "came alive" during his visits enjoying many stories, jokes, wisdom and prayers. (They were both similar in stature and could easily look each other in the eye.) He helped her feel connected to her past as well as to God and Grace church. Her dementia faded away briefly during his visits which was such a blessing for me to witness and cherish. He gave me that book after her passing and it has helped me in my grief. I find it comforting that he was called home to God and his Next Place on a Sunday. Praying for peace, comfort and blessings to Pastor Hahn's family and friends.

I was fortunate to get to know Pastor Hahn when he served as our Interim Pastor at St. Stephen Lutheran in Marshall. I enjoyed my interactions with him. I enjoyed his wisdom and overall sense of humor. He was a straight shooter as well, no matter the subject. I will always remember his messages during Lent and the way he delivered through various people from the Bible...his creativity still brings a smile to my face today. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you. I thank God for allowing our paths to cross. Charlie Ehlers

My prayers of comfort and peace as you lay your father to eternal rest. Sara sent me the notice from facebook Sunday about caring bridge. Sorry I missed communicating to him. He and your dear mother and you girls are forever in my heart. I was honored to have had so many wonderful days spent with you and your family, and remember the special services your Dad did for us. Isaiah 41:10 was a promise that Paul and I held onto: I am with you...I will uphold you with my victorious right hand." 22 years ago my Mom in Blair, NE, died of the same illness. Prayers and love to you Heidi, Kristina, and your families.
