watched the funeral service today and was spiritually encouraged and challenged. It gave me a longing to greater understand God's love and share Jesus... to eagerly anticipate meeting Jesus like Coach did. He will be remembered....

For DelRoy Johnson has been poured out as a drink offering, and the time for
DelRoy’s departure has come. DelRoy has fought the good fight, he has
finished the race, he has kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for DelRoy
the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award
him on that day, and not only to DelRoy but to all who have loved Christ’s appearing.
(reference to 2 Timothy 4:6-8)

In knowing DelRoy, you could not help but see his passionate love of God’s Word, God’s Truth
and his desire to share Jesus with others. I thank God for DelRoy’s impact on my life. May God surround
DelRoy’s family with the love, peace and comfort during this time of loss and ever more til
that day when we who are His are all together.
With much love in Christ, Randy Bloom

I want to service via online today. It was so beautiful and so right on for the heart of Pastor Delroy. My heart has been through his life of testimony many will find Jesus. We are praying for you all and we love you so much as much as we love Pastor Delroy. God used him as a mighty tool in our family and I'll never forget when he baptized my daughter and I. Hugs and so much love to you all
