Sometimes it’s just hard to see why the valley is so long, so dark … so cold and drafty. If we could only be lifted up onto the warm mountainsides where the sun warms our face, the breeze lifts our curly hair, the smell of those wildflowers waft up to us… the corners of our hearts would be refreshed and healed of those pangs that want to wash over us and overwhelm.

my littlest boy has been begging to go to heaven, he doesn’t want to “die dead” but he wishes Jesus could just come drive us up there just to look around. I think a small day trip up to those heights would do us all good, don’t you? To give us strength to hold on.. hold on.
