Journal entry by Delaine Schiestel —
Today, Jeff & I visited my oncologist to see if the chemo was effective (CT scan) and to make plans for my radiation treatment. The results from last week's CT scan were inconclusive. They found some pockets of fluid that were not there before all this. He couldn't tell from the scan what they were. They could be leftover from the surgery, side effects from the chemo, or an pocket with active cancer cells. So, there is more testing in my future - an MRI and a PET scan. Then back to the doc before the end of the month for the results.
Please continue to pray for me and that the cancer is truly out of my system. God is still in control. He still holds me and my future in His hands.
Thank you for all your prayers and support!
Blessings,
Delaine
