Journal entry by Laura Townsend

All, I got word that the City of Warrenville is going to allow a bench in memory of Declin at Cerny Park next to the baseball field across from the bike path and Bower School where Declin and all his sisters attended as well as spent time every year for the Warrenville July 4th celebration. Declin also played many organized baseball games and pick up basketball games there as well.  The layout below shows the planned spot (big red circle:)!

Thanks to John Lockett for his efforts to get City support. Thanks so much to my girlfriends Kara Kizior, MaryKay Carlson, and Kim Wilson for the suggestion and offer of support.  If it weren't for them I wouldn't have even considered this idea.

Tonight Declin said thank you from the sky.  Notice the small rainbow next to the sunset tonight. I have never seen that in my life before (that I recall). Does anyone else see that or am i crazy?

Either way, let’s celebrate Declin’s presence everywhere. He will keep surprising us all forever.
