Declan’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. 

Declan was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoblastic Lymphoma on May 28th 2021. He will be receiving chemo for the next 2.5 years and has a long road to being cancer free.

Declan is 2.5 yrs old and loves Mickey Mouse, paw patrol, Daniel tiger, cars/trucks, airplanes, and trains. He will be in and out of the hospital and will have long days of treatment so as you can imagine, he would love to have any sensory related toys and items to keep him busy while he goes through treatment and recovers.  If interested in getting him clothing, his size is 4T. His shoe size is 10. He will be receiving care at Inova Fairfax Hospital, VA but you can send items to the Henry's house: 3352 Wilton Crest Court, Alexandria VA 22310.

Merry Christmas and Happy New year! 

Declan is doing well and had a healthy oncology appt last week. We will continue to see oncology monthly and then they will switch us to every 3 months as everything continues to look good and there are no concerns. They will continue to keep eyes on Declan for years to come but so far 2 months off treatment we have no signs of his cancer returning. 🙏🏻 Declan and Jude are doing well and are very excited to meet  their baby sister in February!
