Going to school with Debbie I can’t remember a time she didn’t have a smile on her face. I always remember smiling at her in the hallways just because she always smiled back. FB reconnected us and I hated that she had been sick recently had no idea how sick. I lost a very dear friend to this rare disease three years ago had never heard of it. Her children are now determined to help find a cure as she left five daughters. I am so sorry you also have to discover this evil disease. Prayers and love to you all

I've been thinking about Debbie a lot and it saddens me that you all have to go through this. I just want you all to know that I am happy to have been able to re-connect with Debbie (mainly through facebook). It's so heartwarming to see all the love she has for her family and friends. I will continue praying for Debbie and for her family.

I keep struggling with what to share or say. Debbie is a special human - but you know that; to know her is to love her. She loves making connections and building relationships and I don't think she ever met a stranger. Funny and sweet and always kind. I absolutely loved working with her and getting to know her. My heart is breaking for her and her very loved (she talked about all of you - all the time!) family. I am sending all of the positive vibes and love I can.
