Done with radiation yayyyyyy!! Little lung issue n tired is an understatement, but overall doing very well! I meet with genetics and onc Dr. Force next week and start my oral therapy and begin genetic work as possible source. Have had inner ear issues, labyrinthitis, but am no longer falling over lol. U know you are getting old when noone laughs when you fall lol.
Love my team of friends and support folks. You are all amazing n I love you to pieces. Happy Monday!

So, the journey continues! No additional surgery or chemotherapy are needed, yayyyyy! I absolutely love Dr. Force "May the force be with you", yes I wore a t-shirt that bore those exact words lol. The good news is that my cancer does not require chemotherapy to prevent recurrence. Chemo would only improve my already low statistical results for recurrence by .01 percent, so no chemo. Borders are felt to be clear with margins of 2.5 mm on 7 sides and 2mm on one side. It is felt that radiation alone will reduce the risk of recurrence. Yesterday I did a practice fun for radiation therapy. Fun times! I have stickers and marks and look somewhat like a scarecrow lol.
My current plan is to continue working and use my lunch breaks for radiation therapy.
I am overall feeling pretty good! Heading to the beach next week before beginning the daily radiation on the 19th.
I am blessed with the best friends and family and appreciate all of you and all of your thoughts, good vibes, food, snacks, and for always being supportive, loving and my prayer warriors! I love you all!

I met with Dr. Georgaide yesterday and nodes are all negative for cancer which is great news! Still awaiting oncotyping to assist with the decision for chemo or no chemo, but I have learned that hurrying up to wait lol. I am in search of a new medical oncologist at this time, as my current one and I are not meshing well.

Well, surgery went well. Mass and 4 sentinel nodes were removed. This week I learn about my oncotyping results, staging and what not. Thank you all for your continued love and support.

I am so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and care. I love you all to the moon and back! I had my preop appointments today and am all set for surgery on July 9th. I have dye injected and other stuff done to highlight the lymph nodes on the left side to ensure that the ones that are at risk are removed.
Your love and prayers are so appreciated!
