I figured I would do a quick update before the holidays, because we will be pretty busy the next few days.

Mom went to the Urologist on Friday and they did a scan to see if they could find the stone and they couldn't seem to find it.. they told her she had a better chance of being struck by lightning than to pass a stone that size, so they opted to remove the stent and re-scan and sure enough - they found it. It was hidden behind the stent the whole time. Now, mom goes in again on Christmas Eve to have a procedure to remove it. 

She also had some blood work done and it appears that her kidney numbers are still getting better and better which is fantastic. We have one more small bump to get over and then she can really, truly, focus on her recovery. She now has therapy set up that will begin next week (on New Years Eve) which she is looking forward to. She is already working on some stuff on her own (squeezing stress balls, walking without a walker when she can and trying to do more and more on her own). We cant wait for Monday to be over, so we can be done with surgeries and procedures! <3
