Journal entry by William Watts

Yesterday was just one of those days.

First, it is my Dad's birthday. He's in Heaven now; left us in 2004, but I am reminded of his care for mom when she became ill. He never left her bed side, and held on to her thru it all.

I feel so helpless, that I can't be with Debby like Dad was with Mom.

I did take her some Mac & Cheese this evening from Carla. Her nurse from day shift met me at the door. She took the food and cokes to her while I waited. I want Debby to know, even though I can't visit her, I'm there! She said Debby has been more alert today. The nurse said Debby started eating the Mac & Cheese immediately, and a diet coke!

Today, received sad news that a cousin had passed. Unfortunately, it was by suicide, and the 2nd cousin in as many years.

We don't know the trials and struggle people are facing these days. Often, there are no warning signs.

Each day is struggle for me, but I am thankful for the support I have.

Please continue your prayers for Debby and myself.
