Newest Update

Journal entry by JoAnn Testerman

This is the hardest update I’ve had to post; I wish I could be there with you when you read it.  The results from the biopsy are in…  Deb has Stage 4 lung cancer, small cell, the most aggressive type of cancer and it has metastasized throughout her body.   Regarding treatment; they’re saying this is terminal and will not be cured. There is a treatment targeted at slowing the disease, and it is as toxic as chemo. It may or may not make her day-to-day a little better.  She would need to get stronger to begin any treatment should they choose to do so.  Radiation is not an option.  Arrangements are being made at the house; Deb will go home tomorrow morning.  Right now, she only wants to be at home with her kids around her.  Please keep Deb, Kimmy, Kenny, Candice, Sean, Tanya, and Seany close in your thoughts and prayers.  Peace & Love…
