Debby, as I read about the event you attended, and the joy you felt, all I could think of was, "What a gift the Lord gave her!" It truly blessed me to read about it. Although my own health issues are somewhat milder than yours for now, I relate to so many of the things you experience...the constant awareness of how our lives have changed...the feelings from having others constant help, the wanting to isolate rather than ask for it, the pushing to do things, even knowing we will pay the price later...but the way you see things is a constant git and an encouragement to me. I loved the poem. I read every word of yours. They are life. Praying for those sweet children of yours too. Love, Linda

Debby, it sounds as if the time tonight has been a refreshing respite for you, a true encouragement. SO happy to hear that! It also sounds as if there is a price to pay, a spillover recovery time but that the pluses more than balance the minuses. Now as you think back on your time this evening, you can relive some of the joy and smile a second time!!
