It’s been 365 days since I updated Caringbridge. To date, my transplant continues to be successful and my life was saved because of it. My fabulous doctor at Duke says my success is a miracle. Throughout this entire process, miracles were abundant, I give all praises to the ultimate healer, my Lord Jesus. I’m so blessed.

My recovery since transplant has been slow with many hurdles along the way. I still have a long way to go until wellness is restored. With the help of a wonderful medical team, a loving and supportive family, I’m well on my way. 

I wear the scars of cancer, my body will never be the same. But my faith and the peace I experience has never wavered. Each day is a gift that I’ll never take for granted.
