Journal entry by Kristin Reinhart —
From Dad:
Hello everyone.... it’s been awhile.
Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes...
We wanted to put out the latest update on Debbie’s journey with cancer.
She had a follow up scan in mid June, and her results were mixed.
1) her blood results were good
2) the original tumor is stable
3) the scan did not find any spread of cancer to any other organs BUT it did identify another spot on her pancreas.
We scheduled appointments with the doctors and met with them yesterday 6/26. We feel that the team developed a good path forward and we are headed in that direction. Debbie will continue with her treatments that she was getting prior to the scan until after Kristin’s wedding. Then she will go in for a biopsy (sometime after mid July) of the new spot if determined to be cancerous she will continue with the mistletoe and possibly low dose chemo (20% of a normal dose).
We are very fortunate to have found doctors here that will work together in providing naturopathic and conventional medical treatments. One of the doctors has been looking into mistletoe since he met Debbie and has discovered some very interesting results and findings which are very encouraging to us and confirms what we were told while in Germany.
So currently, our plan is to do what they did in Germany... She beat it once. Her attitude is good and she is determined to beat this.
So if we can ask again for your prayers. They are the real medicine that we know works.
