Our dear friend Debbie was recently diagnosed with cancer. Her journey started 3 months ago just before our group vacation to Hocking Hills .  Debbie had injured her back just before the trip and thought she “pulled her back out”. The pain worsened and after 2 months of doctor visits , emergency room visits and a back surgery to correct a compression fracture , she was diagnosed with lesions in her sacrum, liver and lung.. We have created this site to post updates to friends and family about her progress , create a chain of hope and prayers , and provide Debbie with a forum to share her thoughts and feelings . Please post your messages to Debbie here .  As you can imagine , the financial burden  of her medical treatments  is massive , so we are attaching a go fund me account with this site where all money raised will go directly to assist her with her vast medical expenses .

I know it’s been a while since an update and I apologize but there hasn’t been much to share, but Debbie needs prayers now as she is reaching the end of her rehab stay in the hopes of coming home soon.  Thursday she will find out if she is able to eat again as she has been on tube feeds for several weeks !
