Went by to visit my mom today and they have downsized her trach and she’s been doing well with that and they have also capped her trach so she is now talking which is amazing! She is now just getting Oxygen through a tube to her nose. They waiting to see how she does with all those changes the next few days. They are also doing her swallow test tomorrow and if she passes that then she can get her feeding tube out and eat real food again which she’s dying for.
