Friends, with tremendous sadness and love, and a thousand other emotions, I struggle to share the news that our dear Dea passed away last night. Although she went peacefully into the night, you know she was high steppin' and cake walkin' all the way into town. There'll be plenty of time to rest in peace, but right now it's time to boogie down.

 

Go on, get down with your bad self, mama!

 

I love you all. It has been truly wonderful seeing how many people my mom touched. She was a force of nature and will continue to be! Her light will shine through the world through all of us.
