Dean’s Story

Site created on February 26, 2021

Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. He is at home on hospice care. During the pandemic we are still welcoming visitors as long as they follow the recommended protocols. As of this writing he is getting into a routine with pain meds etc. We are still working out the kinks. His spirits are generally good as he comes to terms with this new and quickly changing development. My brother Bill has been able to come and stay for a while, as we work on figuring out this new way of being. We have had so many offers of help and feel we are so supported by friends and family. We are thankful for all of it. I hope this caring bridge page can be a place for all to communicate....a one stop shop for information. I also hope to not be the only one trying to keep it up to date. Thank you all for helping me help my father.

I was able to have a wonderful visit with Dean on Friday.  Such a blessing for Anaka to visit too.  Dean is so loved.  Dean shared so many wonderful stories with us.  Please send him your LOVE: prayers, cards, maybe a phone call.
