Dean’s Story

Site created on January 26, 2021

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.     We will start back on Dec. 18th, 2015 when Dean received a phone call after his first colonoscopy and was told he has mantle cell lymphoma cancer.  It has been a good road so far.  Nothing changed until this June 2020 when they found 2 Hot Spots so off to Mayo we traveled.  A plan was put into place and Dean finished 6 chemo treatments on Dec. 9, 2020.   Everything is falling into place exactly like the Dr. wants and on Jan. 25th. we started our vacation to Rochester/Mayo for 6+ weeks while Dean has a stem cell transplant. Dean is doing fantastic!!  He is a Poster Child/Adult!  No hair loss!  No nausea and No more Hot Spots!  The Chemo is working so that makes the Doctors and us really Happy and optimistic!  Please add Dean and the Doctors to your prayer list.

Thanks so much!
