Hooray........half way done...or actually if things work our a little more than halfway done ...our actual 100 days is April 18, 2020 but our last clinic day is April 14, 2020 so we should be good to go to come home a few days early....what a thought that is to be thinking of coming home in then not so distance future!
He is doing well....other than a few issues but able to cope and they keep in check do whatever test to ensure what it is and how to treat it....now it is just healing from all that chemo, getting the muscles back in shape after a very long time of not really being active....... or not having the daily things to do when you are at your own home.....I will tell you the one thing we miss is a DISHWASHER....like really how many dishes can two people dirty........LOTS ........
We had such a introduction to spring earlier this week ...plus 10 .....wow , was so beautiful we took advantage and walked at our favourite park ....and then came Thursday.......snow and more snow...but not as much as they predicted .....so glad the weather channel still proves to be wrong 😳 but looking to next week and we are getting back to plus 4 so that is an encouraging sign.....spring a feeling for new beginnings..... after the longest winter on record (for us anyway)but again fortunate to be in a beautiful City/apartment that is so bright/clean if we had to be away from home we lucked out with Thunder Bay and Ottawa.
What life will look like when we get home.......like the best place in the world ....seeing all those familiar faces we call family/friends .....he will have to still be very careful of crowds(still wearing a mask) those who are sick or have been around sick...etc but vaccines start in July and like a new baby he will follow that regime ....
So hope everyone is well and you escaped any flu as it appeared to be a very busy year....all I can say is Flu shot....may not help with all things out there but at least assists with some.....and wash hands ....... I cannot say if that is what has saved me but touch wood I did not get anything this winter and being in and out of hospital daily ............. so thank goodness would have been very difficult if that happened
