Thank you so much for sharing this difficult journey. You are helping others by sharing your grief. I especially like hearing about your special moments with him.

When I see the Caringbridge email notification pop into my inbox indicating that you've made a new post, I know I'm not alone when I say I am always compelled to stop what I'm doing and to go read how you're doing. Thank you for posting and for continuing to share. The journey certainly hasn't ended for any of us that fell in love with Daws and your family and I think of him daily. I love the messages and lessons you are receiving in your reading....self care, self love and extending Grace to yourself, Scott, Lennon and even to those of us who always mean well but sometimes might not say the right thing at the right time. Daws' story and your story is still unfolding and being written and the best you can do is to keep an open heart to each day. I believe you're recent encounters were no accidents or coincidences. I have faith that in time God will establish and reveal the purpose and work he has in mind for you... Much, much love.

”May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.“
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭90‬:‭17‬

I am still praying for you and your family. I was thinking about you yesterday, hoping you would continue writing.
You did everything right at the right time. “They” don’t say, “Hindsight is 20/20.” for nothing!
Be kind to yourself. Give yourself time to grieve. Unfortunately, grieving is not a straight up line journey. There are and will be ups and downs. Keep your faith. Remember tht others share your grief so you don’t have to do it all alone. Happiness can be shared and grief decided. (A quote from a funeral.)

You dear Stephanie are an amazing, exceptional writer. Please continue. Please save everything you have written for & about your beautiful son Daws. Your writings have & will continue to help more people than you can possibly know. I am thankful to be a part of your circle. ❤️❤️❤️
