Journal entry by Julie Woodbridge —
Things have been going good for Dawn. On April 26th she had a clear CT Scan and the Neurologist released her from their care!
May 15th was another good appointment with Dr Renier, her concussion dr. (who is the absolute best!) The concussion tests get better at each appointment. She will now be allowed to take on more duties at work, along with increasing her hours. For the next 2 weeks she can work 3 nonconsecutive, 8 hour days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Then week 3, she will add 4 hours every Tuesday and Thursday until the end of June. At the end of June, Dawn will be re-evaluted by the concussion dr to see if she can begin working full time again and increase her duties at work.
In the beginning Dawn's PT nurse, told her she was on the right path, she just needed to take smaller steps. This was the best advice that she has totally abided by. What a blessing her care givers have been.
Thank you to each and everyone of you, for all the love and support since her accident.
