Oh Danny, your words and Dawn’s words continue to sustain us!!! I saw your note to Linda P on FB about how hard this journey is but you have managed to honor Dawn and our Lord through your words and deeds and that my friend is a blessing to us all. I pray that the grief continues to abate and that you are able to keep doing God’s work as you shepherd all of us on this life journey.
May your heart continue to heal. I’m glad you’re able to think about the joy and completeness Dawn is now enjoying in the glory of heaven. What a blessing to have a precious daughter! Life is just beginning for her. You two have so much of life ahead of you. I know it must be incredibly difficult, but there’s grace enough for each new day.
Words are often so inadequate but these words seem more up to the task than most. What a heartbreaking privilege to walk this path alongside you. We are forever changed by knowing you and Dawn and Violet, and by continuing to share time and space with you and Violet in your grief and in moments of joy. We love you and hold you close as you step into more uncharted waters in the second year of living without Dawn. May you know God's grace, love, and hope in these days ahead.
