Everett and I are deeply saddened at the untimely passing of Dawn Elliott. We are honored to know her and John, along with their three wonderful sons, Paul, John and Joel, with our shared missionary calling through sponsorship of the Northern Missouri District of the worldwide Assemblies of God Fellowship.
We pledge to pray for her husband, John, as well as their sons, Paul, John and Joel, and their children now that they are grieving the loss of mother and grandmother. We do not pretend to comprehend the depths of their grief and loss facing life without this beautiful example of Christian womanhood and missionary devotion.
May the never-failing Presence and comfort of the Holy Spirit carry each one of you throughout these days, months and years. May you feel the security that underneath are the everlasting arms of Him Who alone knows just exactly what is in your hearts and minds. May your memories always end with those of the sweetest of experiences shared. And may our Lord hasten the day when we will all be reunited around His throne with precious ones who’ve gone before.
Thank you for putting together such a wonderful photo album tribute of Dawn's life and ministry. She has been well-loved by those she has known in Africa, both missionary colleagues and African co-laborers, and that was evident in the pictures.
