The man is home!!!! After 33 days in the hospital, he walked up the stairs and into our house on his own power! I never would have believed this was possible, especially during the first 2 weeks in the hospital.
It will take a while before he's back to his previous state of health, but hopefully time, exercise and patience will get him there. He isn't requiring any oxygen (day or night) and is steady on his feet. He is still on a bit of a special diet, but hope to progress to a regular diet in the next week or so.
I know everyone's prayers made a huge difference-THANK YOU!
