Hello all,

Well, my cancer came back again making this the 2nd relapse in less than a year.  I was admitted to the hospital for treatment and chemo.   I was discharged a week ago, and then was readmitted for 2 nights due to a low grade fever.   I am home now, and we have a new treatment path.  

First, I am going to get a second opinion from a Myeloma expert at UT Southwestern.  Second, whether I keep my doctor or the new takes me, I will most likely be treated with CAR-T.   This is treatment where they harvest your T-cells, reprogram them with proteins to attack the myeloma cells specifically.   The cells are then infused into your body, and it requires a 2 week hospital stay to monitor for reactions.

This is now FDA approved and showing significant results.  I am asking for your prayers, positive vibes, etc as go down another treatment path.  Also, please send special prayers for my wife, Cynthia, who has been rock, my advocate, and an angel.  I could not do this without her.
