David’s Story

Site created on July 16, 2022

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

David Schneberger was on the Amalfi Coast in Italy when he took a 50 ft. fall on June 13th. He sustained the following injuries: A brain bleed, seven fractured ribs, collapsed and bruised lungs, a dislocated hip and a broken ankle. He was airlifted to a hospital in Italy where he remains in Intensive Care today. His daughter and her mother are there meeting with the doctors daily. We expect David will be in Italy for at least another month before returning to the U.S. One or two of his family will be staying nearby to stay up to date on his care and be his advocate. Medical and transportation costs will be astronomical. A Go Fund Me has been set up and any generosity would be greatly appreciated by the family.     https://gofund.me/b6897fb8
