What a loving tribute to David, husband and father. He was such a special person and we are all lucky that he came into our lives even if only for a short time. He touched all our hearts. Such a special person and we miss him so much.

Some more info about how we are related: my dad, Arnold Claussen, was the last child born to Heinrich Claussen and Marie Carstensen. Pete Claussen was my uncle . Pearl Claussen was my first cousin (I think), so that probably makes us second cousins? With 15 kids in the Claussen family, and with me being born and raised in California, the whole relative thing is very confusing to me. Helen Knop was my go-to relative for info on the family before she passed, and now Ruby Stotmeister is my go-to person for info. I do also look at the My Heritage site maintained by Bobbi Lenninger. So sorry for the loss of your dad. He seemed like a great guy.

So sorry for the loss of your dad. I had to call cousin Ruby Stotmeister to see how you were related to me. I was born and raised in California, so am not very familiar with my extended family members. My dad, Arnold Claussen, and my mom, Dorothy Cerveny, we’re both raised in Rickets, Iowa. I am sorry for the horrible accident that took your dad from you. My solace and best wishes to all of you. My husband and I live in Arizona.

Dear Family, So very sorry in the loss of your Dad. I was raised in Wbg but live near Jeff City now. May you have comfort and peace in the days ahead. Life is beautiful but very hard at times. Sincerely, Joann Meredith Murphy Cross.

Janet and family, I am so sorry for your loss.
David was a very good guy and I enjoyed sharing fishing stories with
him at the cousin reunions.
