God bless you, Fran! We will all miss David. I’m so sorry I am overseas and will not be in attendance at the service. It was a blessing to see you and David at the Camden High reunion, and I’ll continue to pray for you and your entire family.

Overwhelming sadness doesn't come close to what my heart is feeling right now. David was my little brother in my heart and I will cherish all memories that include David in them.
To Fran and his girls I send love and prayers for God to comfort you all during this time of grief.
I love this entire family and I know there will be a hole left in your lives without David being here.

Continuing to pray for you all as you grieve David’s presence here with you, but rejoice he is present with our Lord.

What a beautiful, purposeful, and servant life David lived in honor of God. I knew David from our Camden High days and infrequent contact after we all parted ways into life. My fondest memories were from the time David invited me on one of his famous 3-day SC river trips. I had never been around boats that much, but the trip ended up being a highlight in my life. We shared old high school tales with Ronald Grooms and David's brother and other boater friends. David loved his music, his family, his outdoor life, his friends, and most importantly, the Lord. David was an avid prayer at every meal. We visited David and Fran in Columbia, and the last time we were together was at our CHS '83 reunion. Fran, you and the girls were so strong throughout these past three years. I so admire your strength and genuine love for David. I know that you'll miss him deeply as we miss the loss of our oldest, Chase, in 2022; but know that his spirit will always be there with you alongside the Holy Spirit watching over each laugh, tear, and smile forever. Goodbye my good friend...we love you!

Love you so much. ❤️

I know you will miss David so much. But you know right where he is! I am so proud of you. You have been such a wonderful wife and servant. You are David’s angel. He adores you and he was so grateful that you took such precious care of him. You gave him courage and encouragement. Your smile alone made him strong. God chose you to be his most beautiful protector and caretaker. I know he is still thanking God for giving him you in this life. ❤️

You are in my prayers. You are such a strong and beautiful lady. I pray God will give you great strength and comfort.

You are so loved,
Stacey

You said it best. WELL DONE! Now you 3 beautiful women, carry the knowledge that you had him in your life and he gave you HIS TIME and HIS PRESENCE! There is nothing more magnanimous than a man who will do that! Carry what he was forward. You all now have a personal angel. It’s crazy time. Be safe.
