Dave, your message is a sight for sore eyes! Birds are so interesting to watch through the seasons; in Phoenix, we get “migrants” from Mexico (no side comments from me), and many species pass through between Mexico and Northern states. We even saw 1-2 species at the Alaska nature that travel from Mexico/Central America to Alaska. My bird feeder is just outside my window about 3 ft from where I sit, to the backyard from my wonderful new lazy boy-type lounge chair. (We decided we deserved new chairs after 19 years sitting in our lazy boys, how virtuous can we be?) so I can watch birds whenever I sit here, and I can even see the feeders in the back yard. Lord, I’ve turned into my mother!
