Journal entry by Devon Loose —
Dad was discharged from rehab on Sunday, August 26. 😊 He is very happy to be home, and we are very happy to have him home. He is working on stretches, riding the stationary bike each day to build up his strength, and he is still resting quite a bit each day. He’s hoping to get back to “normal” within the next few weeks, but taking it day-by-day.
He has a number of follow-up appointments in the coming days and weeks with specialists, the family doctor, lab work, etc. We hope the procedure to remove the kidney stone will be scheduled within the next few weeks.
As a family, we all realize how lucky we are to be in the current situation that we are in right now. We are grateful for ALL of the support in the last few weeks, which was a very scary time for our family. ❤️
Thank you,
Devon Loose
