Thank you, Kathleen . Has it been 3 years?! The poem is so moving. I think of you, often. I have David's ornaments in various rooms of my house. He will never be forgotten ❣️ Jill

Dearest cousin, What a heartfelt message to remember your David. How special that a friend left that poem at his grave. And noted in the poem, he needed bag balm for hard working hands. I loved " I choose to remember what matters is David. His life. His love. His wood. His words". Love, Vicki

Oh, the release of emotions with words -- that connection to Uncle Dave and to you. Beautifully written. One of my FB "Memories"today was that last breakfast morning -- what a blessing that was. Slipped, by some miracle, into that sliver of time between Colorado and home. Those memories and those pictures bring me comfort. Thank you for sharing those minutes with us. I know how precious they were. Sending lots of love!
