David, your name was brought up in my bible study group as a prayer request so I have been praying for you and your family. This is the first time I read your journal - thank you for sharing something so personal and difficult. I appreciate your transparency and honesty and especially the PSA. I have family members who have been affected by CRC but later in life, the stats you mention are not ok! Praying that your procedures today went well and that things are are turning around from the edge.
David, I know your Mom and Dad and I remember visiting your parents in the hospital after you were born. I have thankfully crossed paths with your Mom during COVID-19 and I now live in Australia 🇦🇺. So I am preparing for sleep now but as I do I am lifting you up in prayer back in Pennsylvania at the hospital that the procedures today will go well. Look 👀 forward to hearing from you how things went when you feel up to it and be assured of ongoing prayerful support. I am sorry that you are going through this journey.
