Lori, I am so sorry the time has come for David to go on ahead to his Heavenly reward. Please hold tightly to Jesus' hand. He will walk with you through the separation anxiety as the pain of your grief heals. Love you.

Praying for peace and strength for my friend Tricia Hall and her brother David's loved ones.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day — and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

2 Timothy 4:7-8

Dear Hall family - I am so sorry for your loss, but am so happy you can be comforted by his eternal life in His Savior. He is now being greeted by Christ, his parents and his dear sister, one of my dearest friends. Your family that has gone before you has left a legacy in Christ, at the churches they served in and to all the children they touched in their various roles in education. Anyone who has come in contact with David and his family has been blessed. Hugs and prayers for you as you go through these next days. You can rest in the fact that David heard the words, "Well done my faithful child," and this separation is only temporary.

So Dave that his wishes were to support kids and education. A more faithful man I did not know. Lori was loved by him beyond measure. I rarely had a conversation w Dave that he didn’t lovingly and admiringly speak of Lori. Reunited w his parents, he is watching over his family left on Earth. May your faith sustain you as it did him through this long journey. A life well lived.

I showed my kids his first year teacher picture today in my freshman MCHS yearbook. They all remembered how great he was. I will never forget his kindness, his encouragement, and his mercy. I shed grateful tears today that I would be counted among those lucky enough to learn and grow from him. To his family, I send my prayers. This has to be so hard. I, right now, am picturing him chatting with Jesus about all of the amazing creations on Earth. I can't imagine a better scenario!

So sorry to hear this news. Dave was always a very patient man and I could always go to him for support during my first years of teaching. It must have rubbed off to Rob as well because I got much support from him too. Like father, like son. Lori, your family will always have a special place in my heart for that. It was always fun to run into you both at community events. You two were always together. I know there was much love between you. I know you will cherish those memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
