Lauren and the entire Beck family,
Judy and I grieve with all of you in David’s passing! We will continue to hold you all up in prayer. I remember so well the first time meeting him to talk about ministry in the ECC, not imaging then that he would someday be my pastor - in addition to friend and colleague. We learned so much from him thru his teaching and the way he lived his faith! Even in his suffering he inspired us keep our eyes on Jesus. May God sustain you by his grace and thru the comfort of the Holy Spirit. With love - Wayne n Judy

Lauren- your dad was our associate pastor at Life Covenant and we loved him dearly. He’s made such an impact on this world and was a real encouragement to me through his blog as our family journeyed through health problems. He brought so much light into this world and his faith was incredible! Your family will continue to be in my prayers!

Lauren, your father and I took all our first -year courses together our first year in the Graduate Program in Religious Studies 1992-93. I admired your father for his intelligence, compassion, and faith. I was also enriched in my faith by reading his posts in Caring Bridge. You and your family are in my prayers during this time.

I hope you will find a way to publish your father’s posts on Caring Bridge because they would be helpful for others to read.

As a fellow Covenant pastor I am sorry for your loss. May God’s peace and presence comfort your family, church and friends around the world. David was faithful in his teaching on dying, suffering, honest feelings and trust in our Savior. Peace be to all loved ones of David. Bill
