Gina, family and Nate I just wanted to tell you that almost 8 years ago. I lost my husband Tony at 52 years old to brain cancer and it was because of David and Nate that I was able to be in the medical field to continue on to help patients and their families. When my husband was first diagnosed the doctors, nurses, care givers, friends, family, technicians, counselors and way too many people to mention were so kind and that’s when I realized that maybe I could help other families the way they helped us. What I remember most about David was his smile that lit up the room, how he loved his family and friends and also how he always wanted to help people. I am still in the medical field even though I could have retired but that thought each day of helping someone keeps me going on. I know that David’s will to help people will keep you going on as well. It’s a beautiful thing. Even though I am in Florida and cannot be there for his Celebration of Life my thoughts will be with your family that day.
