Cheryl and family. We are both so sorry to learn of Dave’s passing. Your strong faith has certainly been tested through this sickness. I’m sure your strong family and friends network will help you with all the grief and decision that need to be made for your future.

I don't know what to say. Words escape me and that is a first. Know that we are praying for comfort that can only come from the Holy Spirit. Be blessed and know that the impact that Dave had on this earth will be recognized greatly in heaven. Quite a party going on in heaven. A child is truly home.

Sheryl, keeping you and children in my prayers; I know you will miss him greatly! How wonderful to read that Dave could speak to each child and grandchild before God put him to sleep. Sheryl, so sorry for your lost, so grateful Dave was a Child of the King . Dave was always actively building the Kingdom here and now on earth; now he will enjoy seeing the fruits of his labor of love. We joined you on this final journey through prayer and am sorry I was not able to be physically with you. I am so sorry Pam and I could not be with you during these last few days. With the floods and now away for a little R&R, our time has kept us unavailable. Sheryl, your strength (from the Lord) is amazing. Dave’s home-going, while a big loss to his friends, the church, and to the city, is heaven’s gain. I will miss him greatly. Because of Dave and your ministry, the fulfillment of Ephesians 3:21 is close: To God be glory in the church by Jesus Christ to all generations, forever.

Dave's huge heart for the city enlarged all of our hearts. He continually shared the love of JESUS in real and practical ways. It is such a sweet sorrow to know that he is with his beloved Jesus in the Heavenly City. Our prayers are with you Sheryl and family.
