It is so encouraging to hear of Dave’s spiritual encounters. I know what you mean by asking us to make your voice a focus of our prayers. We can pray for each other in this regard. You used your voice to honor God and the enemy is trying to take this gift away from you. We have to go to war against him. Greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world. Keep on persevering. You are an encouragement to the rest of us.

Hi , Sheryl & Dave,
Praise God for what he is doing. We will fast and pray on Tuesday as well. We do trust God for a miracle and it seems like He is doing one. I just came from the chiropractor for treatment. I thought I just sleep wrong on my neck with terrible pain on Sunday morning. I told Dwight he would have to take me to the e-r and he called a chiropractor in our church He came to his office on Sunday morning and gave me an hour treatment. Just came back from another treatment to day. Still in pain, but it is better. Our bodies are falling apart. Love you guys. Keep praying. God is at work. Love Dw. & Carol

Sheryl, thank you for the update; as I was praying today, I thought it has been a long time since hearing from Sheryl. I am truly amazed at Dave's tenacity; I know I would never make it; I am such a chicken, but when I think of Dave, I am reminded of God's grace and provision. It is a supernatural grace and provision, for sure. I will definitely be joining with you and Dave on Tue, fasting and praying. God bless both of you!!

Both of you are NEVER far from my mind. I appreciate so very much your updates on Dave's condition. I am with you on this journey! Although my last PET scan was good (no signs of cancer) I have pain in that area now and then and it always causes me to wonder.....? It is good to stay connected.
I am waiting for news on my latest biopsies for skin cancer. I've had many Mohs surgeries where they make a football shaped cut around the area and then wait for lab results to see if they need to go deeper. I've had Mohs sugery 5 times and have these neat white lines on my forehead and the top of my head where they have removed cancer. My nephew said I need to create a good biker bar fignt story to account for the scars on my head! Ha Ha! I used to play goalie (without a mask) when we played hockey at Bethany during our evening break from studies. Maybe I could make up some blatant stories about that to account for scars on my forehead, top of my head etc. Ha Ha.
Your journey must seem very long. I'm sorry. Most of the great lessons I've had in life come from tough times rather than the "good" times. I tried to witness to my nurses during those awful times of chemotherapy. Thank God for those merciful people who work in Oncology!
