Riffle Family Update

We’re grateful for you!  God shines through you in the many ways you’ve reached out in support for us.  God continues His goodness & perfect love!  We’re looking forward to Dave’s Memorial Service this Saturday 10:00am @ Grace to celebrate the dad of our family and how much he’s meant to us!

Jagger:  is back doing ministry at Black Diamond Camp & his schedule has been full.  He also had the opportunity to attend a wedding in DC & got to explore around a bit also.

Debb (Dave’s sister):  Is in the middle of selling her house and awaiting plans for some possible travel.

Pat (Dave’s Dad): Is in AK working on some home improvement projects and will travel to WA for the memorial and later to AZ where he snow-birds.

Georgia:  Has been busy with work, supporting a friend at her bachelorette party and moving to our house.   She’s pretty much got all the necessities moved and my amazing co workers will help move her furniture on Oct. 27.

Potter (our dog):  He’s been sad, and it has been a challenge with his GI.  I’ve been working with his vet and having to cook him bland foods.  I’m grateful the vet will come tomorrow.  I’m not sure what to do.

Kelly:  I’ve been on leave from my job, and I’ve been intentional with my alone time and making sure I also schedule people visits so I can connect with girlfriends.  Essential for me!  My friend Anna came for 4 days last week and we even had a chance to visit Cottonwood & Sedona.  It was good to get out & have some fun.  I’ve also been doing organizing and getting the house ready for Georgia’s move in & soon Elano will come!  I’ve also been dealing with every-day household things as well as coordinating the WA service.  AND all the dog stuff.  God brings me His truth and such sweet reminders of the fullness of His love and that includes so many memories with Dave.

Prayer Requests:

Elano’s Fiancé’ Visa Interview ~ Is happening tomorrow in Paris at 11:30pm US time.  Georgia & Elano applied for this visa Sept. 2020 and even tried to expedite it and we’re finally here.  Lord Willing, the interview will be seamless and Elano will get his Visa sent to him so that he can come to the U.S. and marry Georgia.  They’ll have 90 days to get married.  They’re SO ready!  We’re SO ready!  We love Elano so much and it’s been hard for all of us not having him being within proximity during this last month especially.

Safe Travels ~ Kelly & Georgia fly to Seattle on Wednesday.

~ Elano’s travels from Paris back to Portugal and then to the U.S.

Dave’s Memorial Service ~ All the details and words to come for each loved one sharing.

Wisdom ~ To seek God & know the priorities with all the logistically things in life that can feel overwhelming.
