Hi, friends! Welcome to our Caring Bridge page. We'll do our best to keep it updated. After several months of worsening neck pain,  Dave discovered he has malignant cancer that has spread throughout his body.  He is scheduled for multiple surgeries, followed by chemo and radiation treatment. Needless to say, the road ahead will be long and difficult. Thank you for checking in and thinking of us during this time. We can't wait to have Dave home again.

Coming Soon: Celebration of Life/DANCE PARTY!

It’s happening, folks! The event of the decade! The Dave Mao Memorial Celebration of Life/50th Birthday/DANCE PARTY! Featuring performances by the Macalester Traditions, Fresh Concepts Comedy Improv Group, and more! 


The virtual event website is coming soon, so even if you can’t attend the dance party in person, there will be ways for you to participate in the celebration across space and time… 🤩 


In the meantime, a few details for your planning purposes: 


When: Saturday, July 27 at 7pm

Where: Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center at Macalester College, Saint Paul, MN 

Who: You! And Dave’s friends and family all around the world ❤️
