Just found out about Dave's passing from a colleague.
My condolences to his wife and children. What a great man and role model. May God receive Dave into heaven.
I met Dave while working at Lam Research (~2004). I was managing a project for Lam in Japan. Dave and I worked closely together on that project. He was always welcoming, intelligent, great work ethic and straight forward. He was a man of his word! If he gave you a date - you could count on it.
I now work for Abbott Labs/St. Jude Medical. My manager brought an outside Mechanical Engineer to work on a design we needed for our new test fixture. Low and behold it was Dave! What a great design! Always a pleasure to work with and a great ME.
