We are coming to you live this morning from the weekly 5:30am sub contractor meeting for the Interim Ticketing project at the Great Hall. I have absolutely nothing to do with this project except to show up every Wednesday morning early enough to get my favorite seat in the back corner of the room where I’m at the perfect angle so no one can see my phone screen. I’ll be doing Wordle and Connections in a few minutes with the furrowed brow and slightly pained look of a man who would be paying full attention to this meeting if not for the weight of all world’s problems being laid on his shoulders.

So here’s to the things we must do to keep the trains on their tracks and to the little tricks we have that make them a tiny bit more bearable. If there’s a chance to squeeze an extra drop of fun out a moment, let’s make sure we do it. Happy Wednesday!
