As many of you know, Dave has had health issues his whole life. Dave was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome at birth along with transposition of the greater arteries and antithrombin 3 deficiency. This led to 3 open heart surgeries while he was still a baby. 

Dave continues to need medical care for the rest of his life, and has been hospitalized on many occasions throughout the years. Because of complications that stem from his heart surgeries, Dave is now facing his biggest challenge yet: 3 transplants. He will need to get a new heart, liver and lungs. 

Despite all these obstacles that he has faced, Dave has been able to lead a fairly normal life. He graduatEd from Marmion Academy, fell in love and married his wonderful wife Anahied, and together they have a beautiful little girl. 

The need for these transplants has reached a desperate stage. He needs them desperately and when this happens, he will be missing work, along with the possibility of needing to have these surgeries done out of state.  Our goal is to raise money so that his wife and daughter can accompany him to wherever he may need to go, help cover travel costs, and cover bills both from loss of income and medical. 

Dave is the greatest man. He has always been there for any friend in need, never asking for anything in return. He doesn’t complain about being sick, just shrugs and does what needs doing. He is the bravest, most wonderful person I have had the privilege of calling my friend. Please consider helping this awesome family out by donating or spreading the word. Every little bit helps.
